Eco Fair this Saturday 10th April in the Greenhouse

Near90fm and Cultivate are hosting an Eco Fair on Saturday 10th April 2010
Taking place at the Greenhouse, which is the former ENFO building, on 17 St. Andrew Street, Dublin 2 from 10.00am to 6.00pm.

‘The Dynamo Effect- Eco Fair’ will be a fun and informative day out for the whole family, featuring stalls, films, talks, children’s activities and workshops on renewable energy, green building, local food, ethical fashion, transition towns, cycling, and sustainable communities.

21 March International Day Against Racial Discrimination

To mark International Day Against Racial Discrimination, near90fm will be broadcasting a special Global Solidarity Programme, that will feature an interview with Josephine Ahern (CEO Integration Centre of Ireland), a series of interviews by Pamela Kpaduwa and a feature on migrant workers rights in Ireland produced by Aoife Smith, Migrant Rights Centre of Ireland.
Pat O'Donnell Protest
Pat 'The Chief' O'Donnell, a local fisherman and campaigner against the Corrib gas pipeline was jailed for 7 months on Feb 10th.
A demonstration against the jailing was held in Dublin on Feb 20th. Produced by Dave Donnellan.
