Tir na Nog: Cover to Cover Special

On Saturday 16th January near fm recorded a storytelling special, Tir na Nog, in Raheny library. There was a great turn out of children along with their parents to hear stories from Sue Brown, Daniella Allison and Richard Marsh. Tir na Nog will be a four part series, funded by the BAI Sound and Vision Scheme, featuring Irish storytellers in local libraries.

Aswell as recording the stories near fm also interviewed the children about their favourite stories and books. The series will be broadcast on near 90fm in the coming months. Please check back here for more details soon.
Thanks to all for coming out on saturday and all near fm and Raheny library staff and volunteers for their help in what was a great day.
