The Artane Bands Journey to Boston
The Artane Bands Journey to Boston Documentary (1 x 45 min) is showing on DCTV, Dublin Community Television (NTL 802) on Wednesdays and Fridays at 7pm for the month of August.
The Neartv Crew with the Artane Band and Chaperones at the Irish Cultural Centre, Canton, Massachusetts.
This documentary follows the journey of 62 the young musicians from the Artane Band who traveled to Boston during the 125th anniversary celebrations of the GAA and the 50th Anniversary of the founding of the North American GAA board.
This documentary was directed by Dave Donnellan (a volunteer with Neartv) and filmed by John Breslin (DCTV).
Co-produced by Neartv and DCTV with the support of the Broadcasting Authority of Ireland Sound and Vision Scheme.
The Joint Consortium on Gender Based Violence Learning & Practice Day (in two parts)
The Joint Consortium on Gender Based Violence comprises Irish human rights, humanitarian and development organisations, Irish Aid and the Defence Forces, all working together to address gender based violence. Its overall aim is to promote the adoption of a coherent and coordinated response to gender based violence.
This piece comprises of interviews from speakers on the day.
